Reid, Barbara Marie Age 67, of Burnsville, MN passed away on July 14, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Maybelle Lucille (nee McLandsborough) Reid. Barbara graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1971. She attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and obtained a Special Studies Degree in Geology in 1975. Unable to find a position in the field of geology, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa and worked various jobs. To attend University of Iowa to take classes in banking and finance, she moved to Iowa City in 1983. After working for several banks in Iowa, she moved to the Twin Cities in 1988. Several of the companies she worked for in the Twin Cities were sold and her position became redundant. She spent the last 23 years working for what is now Wells Fargo. Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting, and playing in several church handbell choirs and volunteering on the Hosanna Prayer Team. During her life she volunteered for several political campaigns. In 2000 she found her true passion in missionary work with The Palm Branch, which she traveled to several different countries on mission trips. She is survived by her brother, John (Janet) Reid; sister, Elizabeth (Scott) Benjamin; nephew, Reid (Kari) Benjamin; and niece, Melissa Benjamin. Visitation will be at 1:30 and Barbara's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 August 6, at Hosanna Church, Lakeville, MN 55044. Barbara's Service will be live streamed at
