Goren, Elaine Vivian (Anderson) Age 75, of Bloomington MN died July 17, 2020. She was born on May 8, 1945 in Queens, New York. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Vivian Anderson, her husband Nurullah Goren, and her companion of many years, Sayeed Ahmad. She is survived by her three children, Paul Goren of Eagan, MN; Jessica Goren of West Newbury, MA; Lesley Doyle of Thousand Oaks, CA; five grandchildren; and her brother Lawrence Anderson. Elaine spent many years as a New Yorker, before moving to New Jersey, Rhode Island, Florida, and Minnesota. She loved reading and traveling and had a deep interest in genealogy and learning the stories of her ancestors. She was especially fond of cats. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Providence, Rhode Island.
