Monson, Annette Josephine Olson Age 69, passed away on March 22, 2020 after surviving an amazing 20 year battle against breast cancer. She is survived by her Husband Steven of 49 years; Children Emily (William), Angela (Paul), Ellen (Mark); Grandchildren Lauryn, Elliott, Hailey, Juliet, Jaron; Sisters Mary Ellen, Sandra, Brother Victor, and many extended family members. Annette was born on July 17, 1950 at home in Cass County, MN, where she attended Pine River High School. Later she attended the University of Minnesota where she met her husband. Annette and Steve have been long term residents of Brooklyn Park, MN. Annette was known for her faith, generosity and her love for gardening, cooking and her grandchildren. She consistently volunteered in the community and taught Sunday School for 45 years. Annette is preceded in death by her Father Volney, Mother Margaret, and brother David. A Celebration of Life Service will be held July 18, 2020 at Anoka Covenant Church, 752 Grant Street, Anoka, MN. Visitation starting at 10:00 AM, with an 11:00 AM service and lunch following. Distancing and food service in accordance with CDC guidelines. Please bring a mask.
