Kirklin, Frederic "Judd" Age 74, of Richfield (formerly a 40-year resident of Northfield), passed away on June 27, 2020. Survived by loving wife of 43 years, Diane. Children, Cameron Judd Kirklin, Robert Minogue (Craig Wickstrom), Brian Minogue (Melissa); brothers, Starr Judd Kirklin (Mary Marso), Richard Judd Kirklin (Martha). Many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Eleanor Judd Kirklin and Dr. Oren Kirklin; sister, Martha Judd Byrne (Tommy). Judd grew up in Rochester and graduated from Shattuck Military Academy in 1964. He attended Mankato State University and The University of MN and graduated from Brown Institute. He went on to have a vibrant career in technology. In 1993 Judd started his own company, Innovative Retail Solutions, where he was President and CEO until he retired in 2017. Judd did a lot of volunteer work and for the past 12 years was a Big Brother through BBBS to his wonderful Little Brother, Nathan. He enjoyed golfing, classic cars, and teaching his sons how to work on cars. Judd's favorite pastime was spending quality family time every weekend in Northern MN. Judd was an inspiration to and instrumental person in many people's lives. His generosity of spirit and heart were big enough to include everyone. He was an excellent listener. Whenever anyone needed a helping hand, he lent his without hesitation. He believed in and saw goodness in everyone. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family respectfully requests that those attending wear a mask, as there will be vulnerable adults at the two events. Visitation 4-7pm Monday July 6th at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th St. and Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, Edina. Funeral Service 11:00am Tuesday July 7th with visitation beginning at 10:00am also at the funeral chapel. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester. Memorials preferred to _Michael J.
