Skluzacek, Lucille (Hartmann) Longtime resident of Richfield passed away suddenly on June 3, 2020. Born October 17, 1928 in New Market; daughter of Linus and Aurelia (Hergott) Hartmann. Survived by children, Gayle (Alan Grupp) Skluzacek of New York City, Michael (Kim) Skluzacek of Kansas City, and Joseph of Richfield; four grandchildren (Betsey Grupp and Bradley, Sara, and Alisa Skluzacek), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, husband Edward (died June 2019), daughters (Cheryl and Missy), and brother, Floyd Hartmann. Lucille was basically a homemaker - an expert seamstress and gingerbread boy maker. She also sold real estate, jewelry, Avon, and her crafts. She was an active member of St. Kevin's (1955-1969) and St. Richard's (since 1969). Devoted to special needs children and adults and an advocate for equal education. She pioneered the Faith and Light movement in MN in the 1980s. Visitation Wednesday, July 1 4-7 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 2 11:00AM at St. Richard's, 7540 Penn Ave. S., Richfield followed by burial at Assumption Cemetery, Richfield.
