Marcy, SGM (Ret) James R. "Jim" was called home to be with his Lord and Savior June 14, 2020. Jim was raised in Anoka, MN, son of the late John William and Jean (Weismann) Marcy. Jim enlisted in the US Army and served our country for 22 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant Major. He had several overseas tours, before settling in Maryland with his wife and son. A devout Christian, Jim was very active in his church and community. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Marcy Lofgren. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy (McCallum) Marcy; a son, James R. Marcy, Jr. (Kathy Marcy-Johnston); a sister, Mary Ann Rouleau (Michael); a brother, Chuck Marcy; several nieces and nephews, as well as, extended family and friends. Due to COVID-19, there will not be any services held at this time.
