Schroeder, Therese "Terry" Regina (Grotkin) age 66, of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2020, after battling cancer for over seven years. Terry refused to let cancer slow her down and ALWAYS maintained a positive, hopeful attitude. She truly had a heart of gold. Terry is remembered as an adoring wife, loving mother, caring friend, and devoted teacher. Her chocolate chip cookies were unrivaled; her quilts were astonishingly beautiful; and she had the eye of an eagle, capable of spotting wildlife from seemingly miles away. Terry loved spending time with family and friends up north on Pelican Lake, embarking on cross-country road trips with her husband of 37 years, Gary, and soaking up the Florida sun at the Driftwood Beach Club.

Terry is survived by her husband, Gary Schroeder, her two children, Aaron (Katie) Schroeder and Colin Schroeder, and her grandson, Miles Schroeder. She is also survived by siblings Diane (Jack) Callahan, Pat (Ron) Fleck, Ginny (Tony) Udelhoven, and Jack (Sandy) Grotkin; sister-in-law Joan (Robert) Behrends and brother-in-law Brian (Renee) Schroeder; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Grotkin, and her sister-in-law, Rhonda (Jack) Grotkin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when her life can be fully celebrated with family and friends. Because she knew that Gary and the kids struggle with keeping plants alive, in lieu of flowers, Terry asked that memorial gifts be made to Texas 4000 for Cancer (texas4000.org; 1111 West 24th Street, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78705).
