Whitfield, Sylvia Elaine of Spring Park, MN passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2020 at the age of 92. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She touched many lives with her countless acts of service. She was passionate about cooking, gardening and Virgil Fox organ music. She will be greatly missed by family and other loved ones or acquaintances. Sylvia is survived by her 2 living children, John (DeeAnn) Whitfield & Kathy Whitfield; grandchildren, Brent Ott, Brittany Geisen (Ott), Brooke Ott, Grace Whitfield, Lauren Whitfield; sister, Arlene Staupe (Anderson) & great-grandson Winston Geisen. Preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Whitfield, husband Harold Whitfield and brother Roger Anderson. A private memorial service will be held at the Noerenberg Memorial Gardens, and any donations are preferred to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN.
