Koehnen, Matt (Andrew Matthew) Age 56, of Vadnais Heights passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, June 3rd. Preceded in death by an infant brother. Survived by loving wife, Melissa; children, Kathryn (Colten) Greeder, Calvin Coleman, Jackson Coleman; parents, Andy and Vickie Koehnen; sisters, Ann Miller (Dwight), Amy Koehnen (Jeff Evenson), Betsy Koehnen (Matt Anderson); nieces and nephews; and many friends. Born in Rochester on March 28, 1964, Matt graduated from John Marshall High School. Matt had an over thirty-year career in the car business where he made an impact on many. He was most proud of his time at Lexus of Maplewood where he mentored and befriended many people. Matt's charm, charisma, humor, and love left an impression on everybody he encountered. Matt had been battling cancer for over fourteen years with the past year being exceptionally difficult. Family and friends are finding comfort knowing Matt is finally at peace and no longer fighting. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 14th with Visitation at 11:00 am, Service at 12:00 pm, and buffet luncheon to follow at Riverbend at River's Edge, 1820 Raleigh Rd, New Richmond, WI 54017.
