Schneewind, Orville F. "Snap" Age 85 of Minnetonka, passed away May 27, 2020. Snap served his country in the Air Force, attending Syracuse University and later was stationed in Japan. After the military, Snap earned his CPA degree eventually becoming partner in a firm and then working for a non-profit company. He retired in 2004. He had a love of aviation and auto racing. If there was a race track or air show around you could find him there. Polka music was a constant. He was such a kind man. He never preached any viewpoint or sought praise; he just went about his life quietly doing the right thing. He turned struggles in life into ways to become a more compassionate human and to support others. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Olga. Survived by his wife of 59 years Joanne (Fauskee), sons Jeff and Kurt (Penni), daughter Linda, grandchildren Jack and Erin and Aunt Delores (Dietel). Services to be determined at a later date.
