Faricy (nee Johnson), Robynn Joleen Edina, Minnesota, died unexpect-edly May 30, 2020, age 43, after a long battle with depression, an eating disorder and alcoholism. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a beautiful, vivacious, intelligent woman who cared deeply about, and worked hard to remedy, social injustice, especially those issues impacting young women. Born in Edina in 1977, she grew up on a dairy farm near Rice Lake, Wisconsin. She graduated as valedictorian of Cumberland High School, obtained her BS in social work from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. She worked as a legal assistant at many of the Twin City law firms, including Briggs & Morgan, Lindquist & Vennum, and Dorsey & Whitney. Robynn is survived by her husband, Raymond Faricy III, and her son, Emmett - the greatest joy of her life, her step-daughters, Audrey and Julia Faricy, her parents Harold and Debra Johnson, her sisters Natalie (and Chris) Stoeckl and Bonny (and Travis) Thul and her nieces and nephews; Juliet, Sophia, Anthony, Eric and Kai, all of whom she loved immensely. Memorial services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Planned Parenthood or the American Red Cross.
