Holmberg, Janice C. Age 84 of Brooklyn Center, passed away on May 28, 2020. She deeply loved her family, church (St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Mpls) and her many years involvement as a member of Robbinsdale Chapter #238, O.E.S. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by husband Lawrence E. Holmberg, Jr, son Robert, sister and brother in law Vera and Jerome Alstad, sister in law Dolores Shaffer, niece Pam Weishaar, parents Levender and Fern Sorenson and parents in law Lawrence and Dorthea Holmberg. Survived by daughter Deborah Schipper, grandson Brian (Rebecca) Schipper, sister Faye Dare, Hubert NC, brothers Richard (Elaine) Sorenson, Waco TX, and Larry Dean Sorenson, Mpls, brothers and sisters in law Dolly and Art Anderson, Savage, Doug & Marilyn Holmberg, Lecanto FL, Aunt Violet Pyka, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thank you to the staff at Ecumen Prairie Lodge Memory Care and North Memorial in Robbinsdale for her care. A gravesite service due to pandemic will be held at Crystal Lake Cemetery, 3816 Penn Ave N, Mpls on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
