Ferrin, Virginia Elaine Of Plymouth, Minnesota, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2020. Ginger is survived by son, Jon (Pearl) Ferrin; daughter, Bethany (Bob) Simpson; and grandchildren, Zach (Cassie) Simpson, Hanna Simpson, Curtis Ferrin and Luke Ferrin; sister, Marie Jacobson; and many loving cousins and relatives. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Frank; parents, Elden and Leona Anderson, and brother, Jerry Anderson. After graduating from Delano High school in 1957, she attended St. Paul Bible College for one year. She graduated in 1961 from the Swedish Hospital School of Nursing as the class valedictorian. Ginger was known for her gentle and caring ways, Godly wisdom, exemplar hospitality, sense of humor, and her chronic joy despite physical limitations. She leaves a legacy of faith and devotion to her family. Ginger loved gardening and brightening her home with flower bouquets from outside. She was involved with Bible studies and the music ministry at her church. She and Frank enjoyed being at the North Shore of Minnesota to fish, hike, ski, and snowshoe.
