Atkinson, Donald H. Age 83 of Hamel, Beloved Husband and Father, passed away peacefully from renal failure on April 29th at home. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, 11 months, Kathy; children Kevin (Lisa), Marvin (Cheryl) and Karen; grandchildren Kimberly, Brian (Kaitlin), Steven (Heidi), Collin, David and Nathan; siblings Richard (Rita), Helen, Irene (Gene), Fred, John (Marlys), David (Gay), sister-in-law Marie, many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Preceded in death by baby Lauren, parents Fred and Elizabeth and many siblings. Don was born in Freeport, MN, served in the US Army and was a Production Engineer with Honeywell for 34 years. He was a member of the Hamel American Legion, Lions and the Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday May 5 at the Church of St. Anne, Hamel. Interment St. Anne Cemetery.
