Herman, Kevin John Age 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 18, 2020. He was a Minnesota native currently residing in Apache Junction, AZ since 2014. He is preceded in death by parents Floss & Marty Herman. He is survived by his daughters: Darla Williams and Katie Kunzer, grandchildren: Levi, Nevaeh, Jaxon, Jacob, and siblings: Kaye, Karen, and Ken. Kevin was a professional truck driver. He was also a skilled craftsman, owning his own handyman business for over 30 years. Though planning retirement, his love for adventure and the open road kept him "Truckin." Arizona's warm year-round climate allowed him to pursue his love of riding motorcycles, camping, and seeking new adventures, taking time to enjoy the scenery and make new friends. Kevin truly lived by 5 F's: Faith, Family, Friends, Food, and Fun. He was a devoted Christian attending church regularly. He was continually active in his church community and neighborhood, always willing to lend a helping hand. Kevin was truly everyone's friend and a neighbor's neighbor. He was a collector of many things, especially friendships. The relationships and bonds built over the years were lifelong. Kevin loved making memories and truly lived for those moments where he could get everyone together to enjoy a good meal and the simple company of the ones he loved. Kevin prided himself on being a "grandpapa". He felt very deeply about passing along his heritage, values, and family traditions for his future generations. Kevin lived his life to the fullest, yet humbly. His personality was magnetic, best described as the "brightest balloon in the bunch". His free spirit, light-heartedness, goofy sense of self was a true light to so, so many. He was a man of his word. He believed a man's word and handshake were all a person needed in this world. His deep love and pride for his family will always be remembered. The love, laughter, and moments shared with so many will never be forgotten. Please let his life be a reminder that love and kindness are free, be good to yourself but better to others, and to always, ALWAYS have faith! A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
