Kravik, Ronald K. Age 72 of Deerwood and East Bethel, MN passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020. He is survived by his wife Deb; sons Josh and Dana (Hannah); granddaughters whom he adored, Winnie and Zoey; siblings Jack (Jeannie), Jeanne Olson, Lorraine (Chuck) Mack, Kevin, Raymond, and David (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Ken and Agnes. Ron grew up in Fridley, MN, graduating from Fridley High School in 1965 before serving as a Marine in the Vietnam War. Following service, he worked with the U.S. Forest Service and Superior Plating before becoming a mechanic with Northwest Airlines in 1979. He retired from Northwest in 2005 after 26 years. Throughout his life, Ron loved spending time in the outdoors, and he went on more hunting and fishing trips than can be counted. He loved being surrounded by nature and, in retirement, bought a farm near Deerwood, MN, where visitors were always welcome, be them family, friends, or wildlife. Weather permitting, he could often be seen riding his bicycle with his cup of coffee every morning, stopping to lend a helping hand to neighbors, share wisdom, or tell stories. Ron was a very kind and generous man who was always willing to help those around him. He will be deeply missed. Memorial celebrations will be announced at a later date.
