Henning, Gary A. Gary passed away after brief illness on the afternoon of March 27th.

He was raised as a farm kid in rural Minnesota, but in adulthood his career centered on aviation. From maintaining helicopters for the U.S. Army in Korea, to service in the Air Force Reserve, and then employment by the FAA, Republic Airlines, and finally Northwest Airlines as an inspector in the jet engine rebuild section, he spent countless hours around aircraft and airports over a forty-five year span.

Gary lived in Eagan for most of his adult life, but had more recently moved to an apartment in Edina. His interests included aviation, history, and old cars.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce. He is survived by his two sisters, Gayle and Gretchen, and his son Kurt.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances we all find ourselves in, a gathering of Gary's friends and family will be deferred to a future date.
