Johnson, Erik M. On March 13, 2020, Erik M. Johnson, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of twenty-eight. Family members and friends will keep fond memories of his loved and happy childhood growing up in St. Louis Park and at the family farm. Erik was a thoughtful and kind person with a sharp wit and an easy laugh. He took pride in his profession as a software engineer and was ready to be the 'fun uncle' who would both teach and amuse. He is survived by his parents, Steven Johnson and Debbie Danielson; brother, Andrew (Carrie Anderson) Johnson; nephew, Albert; grandparents, Dale and Charleen Johnson; uncle, Rusty Danielson; aunt, Julie (Tom Potvin) Johnson; aunt, Liz (Brian) Johnson; cousins, Katie and Kody Danielson and Sarah and Charlie Potvin; and many other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Elwin and Betty Danielson. A late summer gathering to celebrate his life will be held at Oak Hill Park.
