Tabery, Philip J. "Phil" Age 83 of Loretto passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Survived by his loving wife, Carol (Budig); children Joe (Susanne), Mike (Laurie), Terry (Sandy), Mary (Aaron) Smith and Susan (Shawn) Fobbe; grandchildren DeAnn (Jeff) Fink, Delissa (Mike) Madden, Jason, James (Mikayla), Bryan (Nikki), Anthony, Kyle (Amanda) Koop, Alexa Smith, Ellie Smith, Lydia Smith, Lucy Fobbe and Violet Fobbe; great-grandchildren Owen and Weston Fink, Gus and Annabelle Madden, Evan.Phil was a faithful and loving husband, father, and grandpa. He enjoyed family, friends, cabin, fishing, hunting, spear fishing, and especially just being a grandpa. He was very active in volunteering in many organizations in the Loretto community, and the parish of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Phil was greatly loved and will be sorely missed and is now happy in heaven in God's hands. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 PM in the Parish Center of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with a 3:30 p.m. rosary service and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue Saturday 10-11 AM, prior to the Mass, in the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
