Sonny lost his thumb at a very young age but that didn't prevent him from taking things apart and putting them back together, from toys to big equipment. He worked at Plehal Blacktopping for over 40 years as a heavy equipment mechanic, keeping the "iron" on the road. He loved to tell his stories, go to the casino with Shirley and anything to do with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. His family was everything to him and he was everything to his family. He will be forever in our hearts. The Memorial service will be on Saturday February 8th at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins at 11:00, visitation starting at 10:00.
