Pipkorn, Howard W. "Pip" age 76 of St. Paul, MN passed away Sunday, Dec. 29th at his home in Troup, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Werner and Johanna. Survived by wife of 32 years Susan Branum-Pipkorn, sister Corinne Simonson, brother Werner "John" Pipkorn, loving in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Graduate of the U of M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he retired as a Research and Development Engineer with Air Cure Inc. in 2019. Known as the vision behind Hydrostream Boats which he designed and manufactured from 1968-1991. Founder of Twin City Power Boat Assoc., he continued to race until 2019. Recipient of TCPBA Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding vision and commitment to power boat racing. May his spirit continue to inspire us to be good people in this world and take time to laugh along the way. You will always hold the checkered flag in our hearts. "Well done my good and precious one. You have run the race and now your home." Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave., Anoka, MN on Friday, January 17th, 2020. Visitation 10 am, Service 11 am.
