Dorumsgaard, David W. age 75 of New Brighton Minnesota passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020. Preceded in death by his mother, Selma Dorumsgaard and father, Magnus Dorumsgaard. Survived by his beloved companion of 30 years, Violet Dorumsgaard and siblings Gerald (Audrey), John (Judy), Karen (Dennis), Donald (Diane), Robert (Karin), and Mary (Gary); numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. David grew up in NE Minneapolis and graduated from Edison High School in 1962. After graduation, David attended The Institute of Technology at The University of Minnesota where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Retiree from Unisys Corporation as a Senior analyst, after 30 plus years. David enjoyed music, movies, and traveling. Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday January 14th, 2020 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 NE 27th Avenue, Mpls, MN 55418, with visitation one hour prior.
