Jane Elizabeth (Mason) Wright

Wright, Jane Elizabeth (Mason) age 101 of St. Louis Park passed away December 24, 2019. Preceded in death by father, Orin H. Mason; mother, Norma S. Mason(Goss); husband, Dr. Thomas D. Wright, sister-in-law, Helen W. King; and others. Survived by son, Thomas D. Wright (Laurie Rivard) of Minneapolis; granddaughter, Elizabeth B. Wright (Amit Sela) of Minnetonka; grandson, James D. Wright (Olya) along with great grandsons Blake and Hunter of Pasadena, California; and step-granddaughters, Angelica Montanez of Minneapolis and Cristina Montanez of Boston, Massachusetts; nieces, Susan W. Kornhaber, Catherine W. Huffman (Peyton), Virginia K. Finlayson (John); nephews, C.B. Wright (Donna) and Donald C. Doerr. A 1936 graduate of St. Louis Park High School. She attended the University of Minnesota and was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. A 70+ year member of The Women's Club of Minneapolis, member of the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Auxiliary and the Methodist Hospital Auxiliary. She will be remembered for the love and happiness she spread. The color yellow was always her favorite and is fitting as it symbolizes happiness, loyalty, positivity, optimism, intellect and most importantly, joy. Jane spent the last two years at The Moments Memory Care in Lakeville, and we want to thank all of The Moments team not only for the excellent care but the love they showed her. We would also like to thank Minnesota Hospice and especially Nurse Brenda for the care and compassion shown to her and the entire family. Services will be held January 7, 2020 at 2pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5029 Zenith Ave. S., Minneapolis.
