Bauman, Anthony J. "Tony" Formerly of Edina, passed away on 11/27/19. Born and raised in NE Mpls and graduated DeLaSalle High School. Served in the US Navy & Reserves 1946-60. Graduated from U of M in Electrical Engineering. Lifelong employee of NSP (Xcel Energy). Member of St. Thomas the Apostle parish for over 65 years, serving as an usher many of those years. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Mary Bauman; wife of 66 years, Amanda Bauman; daughter, Connie. Survived by daughters, Kathy Yano, Lora (Tom) Wesche;; grandsons, Charlie (Megan) Wesche, Anthony (Lindsey) Wesche and Andrew Wesche; great grandchildren, Cameron, Braden, Corinne, Austin and Tyson Wesche; sisters, Mary Jane Urbaniak and Marge Sage; "special daughter", Mary Hirsch; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, December 6 at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 2914 West 44th Street, Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
