Elder, Mary Ann Age 85 of Golden Valley. Mary helped establish the Animal X-Ray Research Laboratory at the U of M Medical School. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Alfred "Al" Elder; children, Kevin Elder, Catherine (David) Meyers, Susan Elder, Teresa (Nathan) Elder Lilly and John (Judy) Elder; grandchildren, Wyatt and Luke Lilly, Matthew Elder, Amanda Paquin and Michael Elder; nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Julius Schemmel; sisters, Betty Kleffman, Penny Edlin and Patricia McLeod; twin brother, Louis Schemmel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tue. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 145 Jersey Ave. S., Golden Valley. Private Entombment Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.
