Olander, Beverly Jorgensen of Rochester MN passed away November 18, 2019 from lymphoma. Born on April 1, 1933 in Tyler, MN Beverly graduated from Delano High School in 1951 and received a BA in Home Economics Education from Augsburg University in 1955. Beverly began teaching in Morris, MN where she met her husband Paul W. Olander. Together they lived in Anoka, MN, Fargo, ND, Grand Forks, ND, Great Falls, MT; and finally Rochester where she resided for the last 44 years. Beverly was an active community volunteer in all the cities in which she lived. Beverly is survived by her son Britt (Laura) and daughter Andrea (David) Baloga, six grand-children Kale, Lane, and Tate Olander and Taylor Baloga Loufek (Spencer), Madeline, and Caroline Baloga, her sister Avis Kunkel and brothers Dale (Jan) Smith and David (Alicia) Smith, and sister in law Ruth Stewart as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and sister, Joyce. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday January 4, 2020 at the First Presbyterian Church in Rochester, MN. Arrangements entrusted to Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, Rochester, MN.
