Clayton E. Stelter

Stelter, Clayton E. Age 86 of Bloomington, MN, formerly of Beardsley, MN. Clayton died of natural causes at home doing one of the things he loved best, analyzing stocks. A retiree of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Clayton was active until the end of his life with the Bloomington Born Again Jocks, fishing, as a volunteer & board member of Creekside Community Center, Bloomington, his YMCA Silver Sneakers membership and as a member of Mt. Olivet Church of Minneapolis. He is proceeded in death by his first wife Roberta (died 1971) and second wife Jacquelin (died 1997). He is survived by daughter Lisa (Johnny Richman), the lights of his life grandchildren Sidney (20), University of Alabama and Carly (18) Portland State and special lady friend Phyllis Hofferber. He is also survived by the bonus family he inherited from his marriage to Jacquelin whom he loved as though they were his own children. Michael Tongen (Karen), Diana Tongen, Linda Harris (Paul), David Tongen (Laurie), eight amazing grandchildren and eight beautiful great- grandchildren. Clayton is survived by his long time dear friend and brother-in-law Richard Nylander (husband of Roberta's deceased sister Marlys), eight nieces and nephews, their spouses and children who brought him tremendous love and laughter. Clayton is also preceded in death and survived by several lifelong Beardsley, MN and Goodrich Rd, Bloomington friends he called family along with their spouses and children and more friends than can be counted. Memorials preferred which will be donated to the Born Again Jock's Disadvantaged Bloomington Student's College Scholarship Fund and the Creekside Community Center.
