Werner, Gloria Gloria passed away peacefully on Sun. Sept. 15, 2019. She was born 1/27/1935 in Hendon (North London), England and came to the U.S. with her first husband James Werner in 1956. They had 4 children together. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, children: Corey, Craig and Jeffrey, and granddaughter Jessie. She is survived by her husband, John Dahlmeier; her son, Bruce Werner; and grandchildren, Cynthia, Shawna, Andrea and Taylor; John's children, John, David, Katie and Julie and their families and many lifelong friends also survive as well as some family members in England. Although Gloria experienced much loss during her lifetime including her own Alzheimer's diagnosis, she enjoyed a full life between her work in HR at Super Valu, sailing and traveling and being part of a gourmet club. Her family and friends were very important to her and she made us all feel special to know her. She and John left their lake home in Mound, MN about 6 years ago to downsize and receive the additional care they both needed. Gloria still enjoyed her books, watching TV with John and an occasional Mahjong game in recent years. Her Westie companions were also a special part of her life! Much appreciation to Tower Light, N.C. Little Hospice and Pathfinder Care Management for their loving care and support. A memorial celebration will be held this Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3:30 pm at Tower Light, 3601 Wooddale Ave. So, St. Louis Park. Light meal to follow.
