McKagan, Sandra K. Age 77, of Bloomington, formerly of Proctor, born February 22, 1942 in Virginia, MN, to Robert and Elizabeth (nee Brain) Erickson, passed away peacefully September 13, 2019 at the Minnesota Masonic Home with family by her side. Sandra was a housewife, totally devoted to the lives of her boys and her husband. She created the ideal home for her family, making sure that everyone's needs were met; oftentimes at the expense of her own. She also enjoyed many years of service in Masonic organizations. She was a past Honored Queen of Job's Daughters in West Duluth, A Bethel Guardian for Job's Daughters in Proctor, a four- time Worthy Patron for Proctor, Trinity (Duluth) and Woodland (Aitkin) Chapters of the Order of Eastern Star, a past Grand Marshal for Minnesota Eastern Star, past Grand Representative for both Nebraska and Missouri for Minnesota Eastern Star, and past Worthy High Priestess Order of the White Shrine (Duluth). Sandra also devoted many hours of service to others, including the United Methodist Church. She was former member in West Duluth, Proctor, and Aitkin, serving many years as a Sunday school teacher, church council representative, church circles, and with the United Methodist Women. Sandra also volunteered for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and the Order of DeMolay. Sandra was preceded in death by Jack, her beloved husband of 55 years, just five months ago and parents, Robert and Elizabeth Erickson. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John (Karen) McKagan of Detroit Lakes and Richard (Michelle) McKagan of Bloomington; grandchildren, Hannah McKagan and fiancé Bryan Johnson of Detroit Lakes, and Timothy McKagan and fiancée, Sami Fuller of Duluth; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Abby Friesen of Detroit Lakes; sisters, Susan Walker of Minneapolis and Carol Erickson (Hans Mayer) of Lacrosse, WI and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service, 12:30 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2019 with a visitation one hour before at the Minnesota Masonic Home Chapel, 11501 Masonic Home Dr., Bloomington.
