An enthusiastic entrepreneur, Paul founded and led a number of electronics firms over the course of his career including PEMCO (Pesek Engineering and Manufacturing Company), Moniterm Corporation, and Aurora Technology. In addition, he held memberships in many electronic associations. Paul and his family also lived in St. Louis from 1979-1984, where he made great friendships and was active in many social and civic pursuits, including serving as commissioner on the St. Louis Science Museum Board as a board member of the Ladue Racquet Club. Paul had boundless energy and never fully retired, continuing to help other entrepreneurs after selling his last electronics company. His many hobbies included building and maintaining walking trails in the woods behind his home, where his family and neighbors hiked frequently. His other hobbies included painting, biking, and tennis well into his 80's. His friends and family remember him most for his positive spirit, intelligent curiosity, energy and persistence, and most of all, his infectious humor. Paul's family is grateful for his caregivers at home, the staff at the Trails of Orono, his drivers and all those who contributed to his comfort and the well-being of his wife and children during his illness.
