Hengel, Constance "Connie" Age 72 a lifelong resident of Bloomington. Since retirement Mom was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 550, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 1296 & the Bloomington Lions Club. Mom has enjoyed gardening, entertaining friends and family as well as spending time at the cabin with her granddaughters. Preceded in death by parents, Ray and Helen Bischof; and loving puppy companions, Solo and Jazz. Survived by George; sons, Scott (Lisa) and Steve; granddaughters, Mollie and Abbie; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Donna (Jim) Buckingham and Bonnie Denker. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 1st, 11 a.m. at Pax Christi Catholic Community 12100 Pioneer Trail Eden Prairie. Visitation Wednesday, July 31st 5-8 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. and 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family for a donation to a charity(s) of their choosing in remembrance of Connie.
