DeLaHunt, Gordon K. Age 83, Bloomington resident since 1964, passed away April 19, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Norman and Hazel DeLaHunt Baarson; sister, Carole Plunkett; half-brother, Robert DeLaHunt; and step-father, Harold Baarson. Gordy grew up in Minneapolis, attended Central High School and was a member of the Central Pioneer Club. He attended the University of Minnesota before serving 3 years with the military and retired from Equifax after 30 years of service. Gordy and Vera enjoyed playing bridge with friends Bill and Sherry and the Edina Senior Center Bridge group. He was a lifelong supporter of Gopher Athletics, longtime volunteer with BAA, and a superfan at his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by wife, Vera; son, Paul (Chris) DeLaHunt of Alexandria, Virginia; daughters, Ann (Andrew) Burniston of England and Kari (Ryan) Goodermont of Bloomington; grandchildren, Sylvie (Rubbel), Julia, Katie, Peter, Miya, and Brode; brothers Norm (Jacqueline) DeLaHunt and John (Monica) DeLaHunt; step-brother, Bob (Marcia) Baarson; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service Saturday 2 PM at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 2200 W Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington. Visitation Friday 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy, 2300 W Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington and also one hour prior to service at the church. Burial at Lakewood.
