Nickander, Larry K. Age 86, of Edina, passed away February 26, 2019. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Vivette; son, Kent; daughter Kim (Dan Schaub); granddaughter, Nicole Ward. Larry was born in Viroqua, WI, graduated high school in St. Louis Park, MN and then Grinnell College, IA. After college, he married Vivette, his wife of 64 years, then served 4 years for the US Air Force as part of SAC and piloting B25s. Larry then became a manufactures representative for Broyhill Industries for most of his career. He enjoyed boating, a cabin on Big Sandy Lake and would tell his stories to anyone he met. Longtime member of the American Legion and Presidents Club NCHFRA. Memorials preferred to the donor's favorite charity. Funeral service Mon., March 11, 11 AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, Edina with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Tues., March 12, 10:30 AM Ft. Snelling. Washburn-McReavy.com
