Robbery. Officers responded to a report of a person being robbed during a marijuana deal at 209th Avenue NE. and Durant Street. They arrested two 18-year-old men for aggravated robbery.
FRIDLEY
JUNE 15
Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a man sleeping on the front steps of a home in the 5700 block of NE. Washington Street. The 30-year-old man said he had been kicked out of the house following an argument with his girlfriend.
Missing person. Officers responded to a report of a 34-year-old man who was said to be missing in the 6300 block of NE. Pierce Street. They discovered that he had been arrested and was in the Anoka County jail.
JUNE 16
Domestic. Officers responded to a report of a dispute between a father and his 12-year-old daughter, who had defied his rules and dyed her hair red. It was jointly decided that she would stay with her grandfather, at least for that evening, until things calmed down.

JUNE 22
Suspicious person. A man was reported trying the handles of parked cars in a lot in the 14000 block of Victor Hugo Boulevard. The man said he was looking for a friend, not pulling on door handles. He was told to stay at his vehicle or leave, and was seen driving away.

WEEK OF JUNE 17-23
Property damage. A 26-year-old man was cited for property damage after he threw a rock through a former friend's window at a home in the 16000 block of Grinnell Avenue.
LAUDERDALE
JUNE 12
Warrant. Police spotted a van in the parking lot of a closed business in the 2400 block of Larpenteur Avenue. They found one man sleeping in the vehicle and another behind the building. They took the first man to a requested address, and arrested the second man on a Ramsey County warrant for theft.

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 1000 block of Dunbar Way reported hearing suspicious noises at home and thought someone might be trying to gain entry through the sliding glass door leading into her kitchen. She later realized that the noises were coming from her refrigerator, which she had unplugged.

JUNE 15
Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of an individual who had found a snake inside a rented vehicle in the 12800 block of 82nd Place. A conservation officer took the snake away.
MAPLEWOOD
JUNE 17
Burglary. A man broke a window to get into a home under construction in the 400 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, and then ran away when he was discovered. The man matched the description of someone who had been seen digging through a dumpster in front of the home.
MEDINA
JUNE 15
Theft. A woman reported that her credit card had been stolen at a business in the 3900 block of Arrowhead Drive, and that it had been used for two purchases in Buffalo, Minn. She called back to say she had found her card and that the purchases were made by her husband.
JUNE 17
Gas odor. A resident from the 3100 block of Butternut Drive reported that flames had flared while using her outdoor gas grill, causing her to turn off the gas and pull the grill away from the house. An officer checked the grill and found that the flare up had not been caused by a gas leak but by accumulated grease in the grill.
NEWPORT
JUNE 13
Suspicious activity. Authorities were notified that people were cutting down trees in the Bailey School Forest Park near Century Avenue and Wild Ridge Trail. A deputy found that city employees were trimming weeds and performing maintenance around the trees.
JUNE 21
Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 600 block of 7th Avenue reported that he wasn't pleased with how his neighbor had trimmed his bushes where they extended over the property line. The neighbor told authorities he did not want the complainant trespassing on his property to trim them.

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of two baby raccoons "hugging" at the end of a driveway in the 7000 block of 181st Avenue NW. The officer gave the caller a number to call to have the raccoons removed.
