Wolves gameday

8:30 P.M. at LA Lakers • FSN, 830-AM

Preview: The Wolves, having ended a modest two-game losing streak, now will try to do something they haven't done since March 6, 2007 — beat the Lakers. Since that day the Wolves have lost 22 in a row to the Lakers. You'd have to go back to December of 2005 to find the last time the Wolves won in Los Angeles. Minnesota has a 13-game losing streak there. The Lakers have started the season 3-4 while waiting for guard Kobe Bryant to return from Achilles surgery.

Players to watch: Wolves F Kevin Love had his 21st game with at least 30 points and 15 rebounds Friday. It was also his third in six games this season. He has had five or more assists in four consecutive games. He is second in the league in scoring (27.2), first in rebounding (14.7) and fourth among forwards in assists (5.0). SG Kevin Martin has had 30 or more points in two of his past four games.

Injuries: Wolves F Chase Budinger (knee surgery) and C Ronny Turiaf (elbow) are out. F Derrick Williams (back spasms) is questionable. Lakers G Bryant (Achilles surgery) is out.
