If Florida, they take college football seriously -- and the Gainesville Sun's web site has an interactive map of all 35 bowl games, complete with comments and ratings on a 1-to-10 scale for each game. Bowl-O-Rama is a fine guide, with comments to dissuade you if you think about settling in to watch one of the five bowls that were rated a "2" on the Sun's scale.

The Gophers-Texas Tech matchup in the Meineke Car Care Bowl didn't fare particularly well.

Under the heading Minnesota Player to Watch, the Sun's Pat Dooley wrote: "The closest thing to a player to watch would be defensive back Michael Carter, who is from Pompano Beach and has a couple of interceptions. The Gophers went 2-6 in a mediocre Big 10."

And this: "Minnesota's last bowl win came against Alabama in the 2004 Music City Bowl. Things have gotten better for the Tide since then.

And finally, in giving the game a "3" on the 1-to-10 scale: "Texas Tech can be fun to watch, but there has to be something better on."

Despite the harsh words, Upload thinks the Sun's map makes a fabulous bookmark for the bowl season, if only because it will tell you (most of the time) when the put down the remote and do something else. Like during the Little Caesar's Bowl.

Here it is. Have fun.
