There are several little hubs of unique stores and cafes around the Cities to while away a few weekend afternoons, but this underappreciated three-block stretch just keeps getting better. The boutique Primp, Sassy Knitwear (clothing made in-house!), Bikes and Pieces used bicycle and art store and Shop in the City have been joined by the vintage home décor outfit Carver Junk Co. Restaurants and bars, some with outdoor seating, include old favorite Pepito's, Town Hall Tap, Adrian's Tavern, Pizza Biga, Pumphouse Creamery and Turtle Bread. Sovereign Grounds coffee shop even has a playroom for tykes. And if you're feeling like fancier dinner fare, Café Levain is just around the corner. Note: some shops are only open on weekends.
