Elvis has left the State Fair building (well, actually the location of the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand) as well as Conny's Creamy Cone. Where will the King show up next?

Tom Wallisch and his son Charlie may know, but they won't tell.

The two have been staging Elvis sightings all over St. Paul's Como Park neighborhood to "bring a little levity," said Tom.

They got the idea when people in the neighborhood started putting shamrocks in their windows so kids could have a DIY treasure hunt. Shamrocks morphed into silly faces. And that gave Tom an idea. He had "a disfigured Elvis bust" someone had given him. So Elvis went into the window.

But Elvis couldn't stay put. Now he makes the rounds with Tom and Charlie, stopping to have his picture taken at local haunts. Charlie, 14, takes the photos and posts them on the neighborhood Facebook page, where members can guess the location.

In addition to having a little fun, they hope to highlight the neighborhood businesses that are still open.

"A lot of people say it brightens up their day," said Charlie. "They're asking us to keep it up."
