Spurs won past 12 games vs. Wolves

Preview: The Wolves ended a two-game losing streak Monday with a victory at Utah. The Spurs had won four of fives games after Tuesday's 97-97 victory over Dallas. The Spurs (8-5) have the same record as the Wolves, even though F Kawhi Leonard and G Tony Parker have not yet played. The Spurs ended the game on a 16-7 run to beat the Wolves 107-99 in the teams' season opener. The Spurs have won the past 12 games in the series, including the last six at Target Center.

Players to watch: Three Wolves players had double-doubles Monday. F Taj Gibson had his fourth double-double in six games, a stretch in which he has averaged 12.7 points and 10 rebounds. C Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 13 rebounds and G/F Jimmy Butler had 21 points and 10 assists. Spurs F LaMarcus Aldridge leads San Antonio in scoring (21.8), rebounds (8.5) and minutes (32.8).

Injuries: Wolves C Justin Patton (foot) is out. F/C Gorgui Dieng (finger) and C Cole Aldrich (ankle) are questionable. Spurs Leonard (quad), Parker (quad) and G Derrick White (wrist) were listed as out Tuesday. C Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) and G/F Danny Green (hamstring) were questionable.
