Back on the difficult road

Wolves update: The Wolves' winding road on the road is coming to an end. They have just three games away from Target Center remaining, and that's a good thing if they want to get some wins. The Wolves have lost 13 of their past 14 on the road, with the lone win coming against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. The Wolves' defensive rating on the road this season, 116.3 points per 100 possessions, is 9.3 points more than their defensive rating at home. The Wolves' 117.5 defensive rating since the All-Star break is the worst in the league. … Taj Gibson is questionable to play because of a left calf strain that caused him to miss Thursday's game against Charlotte.

Grizzlies update: The Grizzlies have several injured players, including point guard Mike Conley (general soreness), who did not play Friday in Orlando. Kyle Anderson (shoulder), Avery Bradley (shin), Joakim Noah (knee), Jaren Jackson (quad) and C.J. Miles all should be out for Saturday's game. … The Grizzlies are 2-8 when playing on no days of rest. Their net rating in those games is -10.2. Conley was averaging 29.5 points and 8.3 assists per game in his past six games entering Friday. The Grizzlies entered Friday 2½ games behind the Wolves in the standings.
