7 p.m. vs. L.A. Lakers • Target Center • FSN, 830-AM

Wolves have chance to avenge OT loss

Preview: Less than a week after allowing Los Angeles to win for only the second time in 16 games — and the Lakers finished the overtime victory in L.A. on a 30-11 run — the Wolves get a rematch at Target Center. The Lakers haven't won since, dropping two games by double-figure margins, and enter the game with the worst record in the Western Conference and the second-worst record in the league. The Wolves ended a season-long six-game losing streak with an impressive come-from-behind victory in Indiana on Tuesday. The teams have split two games this season.

Players to watch: Wolves F/G Andrew Wiggins has 83 points in two games vs. the Lakers this year, including a career-high 47 in the Wolves' 125-99 victory Nov. 13. C Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a 37-point, 12-rebound game in Indiana. PG Ricky Rubio had his 18th double-double in his past 35 games Tuesday. Lakers G Jordan Clarkson had a career-high 35 points — including 24 on eight three-pointers — in the Lakers' overtime victory last week. F Julius Randle had 23 points and 12 rebounds in that game.

Injuries: Lakers F Brandon Ingram (right patellar tendinitis) is questionable.
