Already nearing a victory milestone

Preview: The Wolves won for the ninth consecutive time at home Saturday, beating the Toronto Raptors despite being without Jimmy Butler (knee) and Jamal Crawford (toe). Minnesota is now within one victory of matching last season's total; the Wolves didn't win their 31st game last season until early April. … The Clippers had a six-game winning streak stopped at Utah on Saturday night. Still, they have won 12 of their past 16 games and have won their past four home games.

Players to watch: Wolves F/G Andrew Wiggins had a season-high 29 points on 11-for-21 shooting with five rebounds Saturday. He was also 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. C Karl-Anthony Towns shook off a foul trouble-induced scoreless first half Saturday to finish with 22 points and 10 rebounds. … Clippers F Lou Williams has averaged 31.0 points and 6.1 assists in his past 11 games, during which the Clippers have gone 8-3. F Blake Griffin is coming off a 25-point, eight-rebound performance in Utah.

Numbers: The Wolves have won four consecutive games vs. the Clippers, but they are 0-4 on the road in January.

Injuries: Wolves G Butler and G Crawford are questionable. Clippers C DeAndre Jordan (ankle) missed his fourth game Saturday because of an ankle injury and is questionable.
