CHICAGO – Jack Berry made 40 saves as No. 18 Wisconsin ended top-ranked Notre Dame's 16-game winning streak, beating the Irish 5-0 on Sunday.

Sean Dhooghe had a goal and two assists, and Seamus Malone and Wyatt Kalynuk each had a goal and an assist for the Badgers, who won before an announced 9,313 at the United Center.

"Obviously, when you win and beat a team that's gone on a run like Notre Dame has, you're going to be excited," Badgers coach Tony Granato said.

Kalynuk scored end-to-end in the first period for the game's first goal. Trent Frederic scored shorthanded at the 14:05 mark of the second period, and Malone made it 3-0 with a power-play goal with 49 seconds left in the period. Wisconsin (12-12-3, 6-8-2 Big Ten) finished with two goals in the game's final 37 seconds.
