Big Wild news today, and not just the fact that Wild coach Bruce Boudreau will be joining me at the Star Tribune booth at his first-ever venture into the Minnesota State Fair on Monday, August 29, at 3:15 p.m. AND that Zach Parise and Erik Haula will be joining me Wednesday on KFAN during my fill-in at host of the Dan Barreiro Show.

Nope, the Wild announced that it will officially be changing its goal song to Prince's "Let's Go Crazy!"
The decision was made in response to feedback the team received from a survey it sent to season ticket holders this summer. The team says fans voted nearly 2-to-1 in favor of the change. The Wild used the song in its season-ending loss to Dallas last postseason a few days after the legendary artist's death.
"Our in-arena experience is designed for the fans, so it's great to be able to show them we take their feedback to heart," John Maher, vice president of brand, content and communications for the Minnesota Wild, said in a press release. "At the same time, it's our privilege to celebrate an iconic hometown artist that clearly has had an incredible impact on our community and the world."
Wild single-game tickets for the upcoming regular season will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office, and at noon that day through Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the preseason will go on sale at 10 a.m. this Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.
Training camp opens Sept. 22.

Neal III, Mark Parrish and Ben Leber. Parrish and Cities 97's Paul Fletcher will be sitting in at times, too.
I watched Parise skate today, by the way, and he looks healthy. He's getting a physical on Wednesday, and I'll get him right after.
