The Great Minnesota Get-Together is upon us, and we asked readers for song suggestions that celebrate the cultural cheese that is the State Fair.
Carrie, from Bloomington said she chose the Demi Lovato song "Made in the USA" because Lovato is playing the Grandstand this year and it's one of Carrie's summer anthems.

"Cows," a tune from The Suburbs was Jared, from Minneapolis', pick.
"They're a local band and cows are everywhere at the Fair from the barns to the cheese curds," Jared said.
Sue Louiselle, of Maple Grove, wanted a little bit of Christmas in summer with her holiday favorite "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year."
"My best friend and I have been coming on the last Friday to the Fair for 40 year," Louiselle said. "Every time we walk through the gates, one or the both of us starts singing this song!"
From "Pop Life" to "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night," the Purple One dominated the reader suggestions. All of the songs were perfect to celebrate "Unite in Purple" Day on August 26 at the fair. If only Prince were on Spotify…
