Theft. Officers responded to a report of a theft at a home in the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. The resident's granddaughter had taken her vehicle and refused to return it. She was advised that it was a civil matter.

EDINA

OCT. 3

Theft. A 24-year-old Stillwater woman was arrested for theft after she was caught shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy, 6905 York Av. S.

Drunken driving. A 58-year-old Edina man was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 6200 block of Interlachen Boulevard.

OCT. 4

Disorderly conduct. A 45-year-old River Falls, Wis., man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 4800 block of W. 50th Street.

OCT. 7

Drugs. A 27-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 7100 block of Glouchester Avenue.

OCT. 8

Theft. A Rolex watch valued at $5,200 was stolen on 3rd Street.

MAPLE GROVE

OCT. 1

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report of children screaming in the 200 block of Eagle Lake Drive. The officer found that the children had been locked out of their home and their mother couldn't hear them. The officer obtained the code to the entrance and let the children back into the home. A parent thanked the officer for helping.

OCT. 3

Child found. Officers responded to a report of a young child running along the road at 69th Avenue and Ives Lane. Officers found the 6-year-old girl and helped locate her parent, who didn't know the girl had left home.

MEDINA

OCT. 7

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old boy was cited for underage consumption of alcohol in the 3100 block of Wildflower Trail.

PLYMOUTH

OCT. 7

Drugs. A 21-year-old Plymouth man and a 22-year-old Plymouth woman were cited for possession of marijuana after officers spotted them in a vehicle after hours at Parkers Lake Park, County Road 6 and Niagara Lane.

OCT. 10

Drugs. An officer spotted suspicious vehicles at 10th Avenue and Vicksburg Lane. Two girls, ages 16 and 17, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and alcohol violations.

RICHFIELD

OCT. 4

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 7500 block of Lyndale Avenue S. A 29-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for possessing a hypodermic needle.

OCT. 5

Property damage. Officers responded to a report of two men attempting to open car doors in driveways in the 6500 block of Emerson Avenue S. They cited a Richfield man and a Minneapolis man, both 18, for property damage.

OCT. 6

Drunken driving. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at E. 69th Street and Cedar Avenue S. A 27-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for drunken driving.

WACONIA

OCT. 6

Robbery. A 19-year-old Minneapolis was arrested for aggravated robbery in the 200 block of Scott Lane.

WATERTOWN

OCT. 9

Underage consumption. A 15-year-old Watertown girl was cited for underage consumption in the 300 block of Lilium Circle.
