MARCH 29

Drunken driving. A 16-year-old boy was arrested for drunken driving at 66th Street and France Avenue S., after allegedly participating in a theft at the Edina Liquor Store.

EXCELSIOR

MARCH 31

Obstruction. A 39-year-old Excelsior woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process at Excelsior Boulevard and Manor Road.

APRIL 1

Drugs. A 33-year-old Shorewood woman and a 31-year-old Excelsior man were arrested for possession of heroin and driving under the influence after they were stopped for an equipment violation near Academy Avenue and Water Street.

APRIL 17

Arson. A vehicle was set on fire at a parking lot in the 600 block of Oak Ridge Road.

MAPLE GROVE

MARCH 27

Theft. An unlocked vehicle, with the keys left under the seat, was stolen from a driveway in the 12000 block of 70th Avenue. It was later recovered in Minneapolis.

Fire. Officers responded to a report of a smoke odor coming from a home in the 7000 block of Birchview Road. They found burnt food covered with plastic in the oven.

MEDINA

MARCH 30

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a report of an alarm in the 2800 block of Trappers Trail. They found the noise to be coming from a very large concentration of frogs and toads in a pond.

Animal complaint. A resident reported a small wild animal in his garage in the 2000 block of Hamel Road. An officer was unable to find the animal amid the clutter in the garage and gave the resident options on how to handle the situation.

MINNETRISTA

APRIL 8

Weapon. A 41-year-old man on Pheasant Lane reported that he accidentally discharged a firearm in his home. Criminal charges are pending.

PLYMOUTH

APRIL 1

Underage consumption. A Minnetonka man, 19, was cited for underage consumption after officers responded to a report of suspicious vehicles at County Road 24 and Medina Road.

APRIL 6

Theft. A walking stick was stolen from the 4300 block of Nathan Lane.

RICHFIELD

APRIL 14

Prostitution. A 45-year-old New York woman was cited for loitering with intent to promote prostitution at the Candlewood Suites, 351 W. 77th St.

Drugs. A 41-year-old St. Louis Park man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving after revocation following a traffic stop at Cedar Avenue and Diagonal Boulevard. A juvenile female also was arrested on a felony warrant for motor vehicle theft.

APRIL 16

Burglary. Six computers and cash were stolen from a home in the 7700 block of Bloomington Avenue S. An unknown person broke a window to get into the home.

APRIL 17

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 7600 block of Cedar Avenue S. Two men, ages 25 and 24, were cited for disorderly conduct.

Fraud. A woman in the 7500 block of Chicago Avenue S. was swindled out of $10,000.

APRIL 18

Theft. A wallet was stolen from a woman's purse while she was at Bernie's Montessori School, 1100 E. 66th St.
