Tobacco violation. A 17-year-old Prior Lake girl was cited for possession of an electronic cigarette in the 400 block of 4th Street E.
Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of 4th Street E. They cited an 18-year-old Shakopee man for disorderly conduct and fleeing an officer on foot.
COLOGNE
MARCH 18
Check welfare. Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at a home in the 2000 block of Meadow Street. A male resident said his dog must have used the phone.
EDINA
MARCH 15
Drugs. A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 5000 block of 70th Street.
MARCH 18
Drugs. A 32-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, having no proof of insurance, and speeding, following a traffic stop in the 5300 block of Hwy. 100.
MARCH 19
Curfew violation. Two girls, ages 15 and 14, and two boys, ages 16 and 15, were arrested for curfew violations in the 3900 block of Market Street.
INDEPENDENCE
MARCH 14
Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the park in the 2000 block of County Road 90. They found a male there playing Frisbee golf.
MARCH 20
Fight. Officers responded to a report of two men fighting at Vinland Center, 3675 Ihduhapi Trail. A 25-year-old man had awakened his 49-year-old roommate and told him to use nasal strips to stop snoring. Neither wanted to press charges against the other, but the two men switched rooms and were warned to stop fighting.
Fire damage. A male reported that a garbage can had been burned and house siding melted at his parents' residence in the 4900 block of Klaers Drive. Police discovered that he had put ashes, likely smoldering, in a metal can 36 hours earlier and placed it in the garbage. The parents were out of town.
MEDINA
MARCH 24
Assault. Officers responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of Inn Kahoots on Hamel Road. A 25-year-old Sartell woman was cited for assault. She and five others were told to leave the property.

Drugs. An 18-year-old Waconia woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was stopped for speeding on Hunters Trail.
PLYMOUTH
MARCH 17
Weapon. A 24-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was arrested for illegally carrying a firearm, following a traffic stop at Interstate 494 and Rockford Road.
MARCH 19
Weapon. Officers responded to a report of a firearm discharge in the 6100 block of Quinwood Lane. A man in his early 20s told them that he was doing some work on the gun when it accidentally discharged.
MARCH 20
Theft. A trailer was stolen from a parking lot in the 800 block of Hwy. 169.
