On the Lynx
See more of the story

With the Lynx off to yet another strong start – the team will be looking to go 10-0 Saturday against Connecticut – here is a by-the-numbers look at some milestones coming up for both the team and some individual players:

120—The number of wins the quartet of Seimone Augustus, Rebekkah Brunson, Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore have won together. That is one short of the record set by the L.A. quartet of Tamecka Dixon, Lisa Leslie, Mwadi Mabika and DeLisha Milton-Jones. The Lynx could tie that number Saturday against Connecticut.

3,051 – Career rebounds by Brunson, who needs 20 boards to pass Tina Thompson (3,070) into third place on the league’s all-time list.

79 – Career double-doubles for Brunson, who needs two to pass her former teammate in Sacramento, Yolanda Griffith, for sixth all-time.

152 – Career blocks by Moore, who needs four more to set the franchise record (Vanessa Hayden, 155).

The Lynx took Monday and Tuesday off, returning to practice today. They will work out Thursday and Friday before meeting Connecticut. After playing six of their first nine games on the road, the Lynx will now play nine of their next 13 at Xcel Energy Center.

Here’s one more thing:
