Rockford: 10 a.m. parade starts from Rockford Middle School, with services at the Crow River and Elmwood Cemetery. Parade will be led by Wright County Sheriff's unit. After the Elmwood Cemetery service, the Rockford Lions will serve a pork chop dinner at Rockford Riverside Park starting at 11 a.m. In addition, a pie and ice cream social will be held at from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ames-Florida-Stork House. Special recognition of Army PFC Douglas Merrill, a former Stillwater High School student killed in Vietnam on Aug. 18, 1969.
